Therapists use n-back tasks to improve focus in people with ADHD and attention difficulties.

How to play
A sequence of items appears one at a time. Decide whether the current item matches the one that appeared n steps ago.
- 1-Back: You just need to remember the previous item.
- 2-Back: Now you look back two steps. Did the current item match what appeared two turns ago?
- Single N-Back: Track only the position on the grid (visual information).
- Dual N-Back: Track two streams at the same time, position AND sound. Respond independently for each one. This is the version most studied for brain training benefits.
